What is Whish | OLX Pay?
Whish | OLX Pay makes it easier to complete your OLX transactions. Sellers can enable Delivery and Whish Pay on their eligible ads, link their Whish account, and let buyers purchase the item and pay securely through Whish.
The item is delivered by our delivery partner PiknDrop, while the payment is held until the order is completed. Once the order is successfully completed, the payment is transferred to the seller's Whish account.
How does Whish Pay work?
For sellers
Sellers can enable Delivery and Whish Pay on eligible ads and link their Whish account.
When a buyer purchases the item:
- The buyer pays the full amount through Whish Pay.
- PiknDrop handles the delivery from the seller to the buyer.
- The payment is held until the order is completed.
- Once the order is completed, the payment is transferred to the seller's linked Whish account.
For buyers
Buyers can purchase eligible items using Whish Pay without having to arrange a cash payment with the seller.
- Select an item where Whish Pay and Delivery are available.
- Pay the full amount and the delivery charge through Whish.
- The item is delivered by PiknDrop.
- Once the order is completed, the payment is transferred to the seller.
When does the seller receive the payment?
The payment is not transferred to the seller immediately. It is temporarily held until the order is fulfilled. Once the order is completed, the amount is transferred to the seller's Whish account.
The item will be delivered from 2 to 4 business days.
What happens if the order is cancelled?
If the transaction is cancelled before it is completed, the buyer's payment can be refunded.
